Rules, consent & signature

1. Purpose and fair judging

Rise of the Musical Monsters is a fair sound competition. Authentic automotive audio systems compete on sound pressure, sound quality, balance, clarity, build and presentation.

2. Safety and conduct

  • Safety of participants, staff and the public comes first.
  • Vehicles must comply with Virgin Islands road-traffic requirements where applicable.
  • Intoxicated participants will be barred.
  • No testing or tuning on or around the event compound.
  • Music may be played only when directed by judges.
  • Profanity or indecent language in a song selection disqualifies that round.
  • Disrespect, threats or arguments involving judges or competitors can result in disqualification.

3. Payment, deadline and arrival

  • Each competition category costs US$50 and is non-refundable.
  • Registration and payment must be completed by 2026-10-14 23:59. There is no registration on event day.
  • Competing vehicles must arrive two hours before the official start time.

4. Assumption of risk

Participants take part at their own risk and accept responsibility for their vehicle, equipment and conduct. [Legal wording to be supplied after BVI legal review.]

5. Final decisions

Judges’ decisions are final.
